USA Team Lock for Olympic Gold

One word: Kobe

That is the sole reason why the US will win the gold in the coming Olympics.

In the intrasquad scrimmage yesterday, Kobe put on a show in the closing minutes of the game cementing himself as the go-to guy on a team of all-stars.

In the closing minute, Kobe hit a fadeaway 3, a fadeaway baseline jumper and a step back jumper over Tayshaun Prince to give the Blue Team a 105-104 lead. On the final possession with Lebron James at the helm, Kobe forced James to go to his left and throw up a off-balance floater thus sealing the win in an emphatic solo performance.

Other notable players, Jason Kidd looks as good as he's ever been. Did not take a shot until the 4th with a layup near the end of the game to put the White Team at the top. But he did everything else that was required of him. Kidd provided leadership and a knack for hitting guys for open shots--can definitely see why Kidd never lost a game in the Olympics.

Kevin Durant also put on a show earlier in the game. Hitting a 3, pulling up for jumpers, going inside for a score, and handling the rock pretty well. A future all-star in the mode of KG.

Team USA outlook looks gold with Kobe on board!

RE: USA Team Lock for Olympic Gold

On the court, Kobe is the shit. I had him on my fantasy basketball team last year. I still remember those back to back to back 50 point games. I'm going to draft him again this year in fantasy basketball.
