Notes:
- Belinelli with a couple more 3s and a nice drive
- POB getting manhandled down low again
- Belinelli really needs to work on defense, getting back, and not telegraphing his passes.
- Spurs White making Belinelli work for his shot with his length; showcasing Belinelli's skill in moving without the ball
Summary:
Warriors looked flat on a back-to-back. Spurs able to get off any shot they want on the outside and inside. Warriors rotation in the zone and transition defense was slow and lazy.
Offensively, Josh Powell did real well, playing within himself. Marco Belinelli got off a couple 3s but was quiet for the most part.
Flow-wise, Warriors tried to push the ball but the Spurs defense was right on them. Spurs also took timeouts to slow down the pace. Classic regular season matchup between the Warriors and Spurs coming up with the same result.
Warriors lose 80-90
Marco Watch:
15 pts on 5-13 FG, 2-3 3PT, 3-5 FT, 3 AST, 0 REB, 2 STL
I would have sworn Marco shot more than three 3s.
Off-Topic:
The feed needs to stop showing slow motion replays of Spurs made buckets; totally miss the Warriors set on the other end; pissing me off!
The Spurs has a player named Haryasz. With a name like that, he better have game. The announcer stresses the Z every time he says his name. But with the stadium, the echo makes the name sound exactly like Hairy Ass.

There's a big glaring hole
There's a big glaring hole in the stat line: 0 rebounds. Marco is a scorer, not a rebounder. Warriors still need help on the boards. Josh Powell stepped it up a notch and could help the team with rebounding, assuming he will get playing time under Nellie's watch. Rookie Wright could also help with boards, but Wright could be lacking the size and strength to bang the boards night in and night out.
KG!
The rebounding woes can be solved if we trade for KG and sign Darko with the TE or we can do the Suns thing and outscore the other team!
